Lorraine Seib, president of Travelers Excess Casualty
Lorraine has more than 25 years casualty underwriting experience working for primary, excess and reinsurance companies. She joined Travelers in 2003. Prior to Travelers, she was vice president of Kemper's Specialty Excess division and spent 13 years with Reliance National holding a number of positions including vice president and manager of the Umbrella department. She is a graduate of Brockport University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.
Debra Weiser, eastern zone vice president, Travelers Excess Casualty
Prior to her role as Eastern zone vice president, Debra was the field executive for Excess Casualty for the unsupported mono-line umbrella divisions. Her tenure with Travelers began in 2001. Debra spent the prior 15 years with Chubb and Son, Inc. in various management positions within the Claims Department. She is a graduate of Boston University with a bachelor’s degree in international business.
John Tsourmas, western zone vice president, Travelers Excess Casualty
Prior to his role as Western zone vice president, John was the national underwriting officer. He began his career with the Excess Casualty division in 2005 as the claim consultant for the underwriting division then became the referral underwriting officer for the West and Midwest regions. John spent more than 11 years with Chubb and Son, Inc. He began his career in the insurance industry as a casualty claim trainee with Cigna in 1987 after graduating from DePaul University as a marketing and management major.
Ray Parenti, chief underwriting officer, Travelers Excess Casualty
Previously, Ray was the regional vice president of the Mid-Atlantic Region. Ray began his career in 1988 as a commercial casualty underwriter with the Aetna Insurance Company in Philadelphia. He has held management positions in Umbrella and Excess with AIG, Zurich and Kemper. He joined Excess Casualty in February 2003 as the managing director of the Philadelphia office.
John Platt, regional underwriting officer, Travelers Excess Casualty
John Platt oversees underwriting in the Central, Upper Midwest, South Central, Northwest and Midwest regions. John joined the company after 20 years with CIGNA in their Honolulu, San Francisco and Chicago offices. Over the years, he has held positions ranging from senior underwriter to regional vice president. John has expertise in E&S excess and umbrella, E&S property, package, auto and workers compensation.
Michele Feldman, regional underwriting officer, Travelers Excess Casualty
Michele Feldman oversees underwriting in the Downstate NY/NJ and Southwest region. Joining the company in May 2005, Michele brings more than 29 years of primary, excess and reinsurance experience. Most recently she spent 27 years in the reinsurance industry holding vice president positions in both facultative and treaty areas. Michele graduated from Queens College of the City University of New York with a bachelor’s degree in English.
Jennifer Encarnacion, regional underwriting officer, Travelers Excess Casualty
Jennifer Encarnacion oversees underwriting in the Mid-Atlantic, Great Lakes, Northeast, and Southeast regions. Jennifer started her career in 1991 as a casualty underwriter with the Aetna Insurance after graduating from Pace University, Manhattan with a bachelor’s degree in management information systems. She then worked at Fireman's Fund in umbrella for eight years before joining Travelers in 2002. She was most recently the regional vice president of the Metro Region which included New York City, New Jersey and Westchester.
Ed Randolph, second vice president and claim consultant, Travelers Excess Casualty
Ed Randolph works with Excess Casualty underwriters on underlying claim management, individual exposure analysis and emerging liability trends. Ed spent more than 11 years with Chubb and Son, Inc. in various multi-line management positions. He most recently was the casualty claim manager for Chubb's eleven-state Southern zone based in Atlanta. His more than 20 years of casualty claim experience began as a casualty claim trainee with Aetna in 1983 after graduating from Shaw University as a marketing and management major.
