Risk Control has a dedicated resource and development customer education and training staff who continually build and keep our programs in line with the needs of our customers, as well as bench marked against best practices. We pride ourselves on staying in-synch with emerging issues and are continuously updating our existing training programs and developing new topics to meet the changes that occur in the industry. We meet the many needs of our customers by offering our training in different formats and using our expertise to customize training programs to fit our client's needs.
Webinars
What is a Webinar? A Webinar combines the benefits of listening to industry experts on a variety of technical topics with the convenience of not having to leave your office. During the Webinar participants log in to watch the presentation on their personal computers and listen to industry experts by dialing in on their phones. Webinars last 60 minutes and will include a short question and answer session at the end of the meeting.
Complimentary Multi-Media Training
We offer many training programs to our customers. Most of the training programs are offered on CD so you can train from a laptop or computer. Some titles are also offered in a VHS format. The training materials are related to general safety and driver safety. A few of our available titles include:
- Avoiding Rear-end Collisions
- Office Ergonomics
- Fall Protection
Rent or Buy DVD/CD and VHS Training
Large selections of training programs are available for our customers to rent. Rates are modestly priced at $25 for a four-week rental. Each rental comes with a facilitator's guide and a sample student workbook to help you prepare and present your training most effectively. Additional student workbooks can be purchased. All of the training programs can be purchased at a substantially discounted price. A partial list of rental training titles includes:

Do you want to become a certified safety professional? Check out our resources in the Education Center in the Risk Control Customer Center.
Classroom Training
 Safety Academy offers interactive training workshops to our customers across the country. These workshops are designed to provide our customers with the information and resources to help you manage your risk control program. All of the classes are taught by our highly experienced professional Risk Control consultants. Many classes also involve professionals from our claims and legal departments. The classes are offered to our customers at either no cost or minimal costs. Just a few of our many classroom training programs include:

Web-based Training
Web-based programs allow customers to take training 24/7. We offer training programs that discuss a large variety of safety related topics. These courses can be used to build safety-skills and knowledge for drivers, employees, supervisors and safety managers. Many of the Web-based programs are complimentary and others are modestly priced. This program is customizable to meet different customer's needs.
