Travelers offers immediate access to the documents needed to insure marine cargo through our online cargo special policy issuance system.
We offer policyholders the ability to create and issue ocean cargo special policies of insurance online. Additional features of the online system include:
- Special policy insuring conditions that precisely mirror the terms in the customer's open cargo policy
- Previously-issued special policies can be copied and modified for use with subsequent shipments
- Fast approval of shipments to restricted areas through an automatic review process for Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) regulations
- Improved tracking of shipments through a "void" option
- Creation of customized reports
