What's it Like to Work at Travelers?
Ask Our Program Participants

Meet some of our current and past program participants to learn what it’s really like to work here.

Through our Premium Audit Development Program, our premium auditors gain experience in visiting our commercial policyholders’ places of business to gather critical financial and exposure information, and to identify changes in exposures or operations that were not apparent during the policy term. All physical audits begin with a thorough review of the policy information, the loss control report, claim data, description of the insured’s operation and classification of employees. While visiting the insured’s premises, the auditor identifies the scope of the insured’s operations by interviewing the insured and touring the facilities.

Whenever possible, the auditor discusses the audit findings with the insured before leaving the premises. The auditor’s findings are transmitted to the premium audit system database daily to generate the appropriate invoice for additional premium or return premium check, whichever is applicable.
