How does our recruiting process work? Here’s what you can expect:

The Recruitment Process in Five Easy Steps

1. Application – Find the job you want and apply

After visiting our Web site, apply to a specific job posting and submit your resume to hrcanada@travelers.com.

Once received, your resume is reviewed by Human Resources. You will receive an automated email response letting you know that we have successfully received your resume.

2. Assessment – Help us assess your abilities and talents

Human Resources will match your education and work experience to the job posting. Only the candidates whose education and work experience match the qualifications of the job posting will be invited for an interview. All resumes will be kept on file for a period of six months.

3. Select and Interview

If your education and work experience match the job posting, you may be contacted for one or more interviews with Human Resources and/or the hiring manager.

You will be asked to demonstrate your knowledge, skills and abilities through a behavioural-based interview process. This step also may include assessments and tests.

4. Offer of Employment

Prior to final selection, Travelers will request and contact business references. If you are offered employment, Human Resources/the hiring manager will present you an employment letter confirming your employment with Travelers Canada.

5. Your Future – Welcome to Travelers

You will be welcomed and invited to a new hire orientation by Human Resources. Your direct manager also will welcome you and introduce you to the team.
