Business Analyst

Business analysts enable subject matter experts to articulate the capabilities they need to meet their objectives by conducting interviews and gathering information. They serve as the lead for compiling requirements for small to complex projects as well as business process improvement efforts. Qualifications include technical expertise, business domain knowledge, project management experience and exceptional problem-solving, decision-making and analytical skills.

Claim Professionals

There are a variety of Claim opportunities available in our Personal and Business Insurance units, including positions in auto, property, general liability and workers’ compensation. Market Director

Market directors develop and implement pricing, filing and product strategies. Market directors are responsible for leading the development and communication of national strategies and business plans, providing technical consultation on products and underwriting issues and effectively managing resources to respond to customer needs. Responsibilities include the effective management of resources to respond to customer needs, project management and analysis of competitor and industry data, production costs, loss data, competitive positions, underwriting/marketing programs and claim data.

Medical Case Manager

Medical case managers are a critical part of our claims management team, helping to provide professional and technical expertise on all aspects of medical management and medical consultation. Medical case managers communicate with physicians, employers and injured workers to facilitate a safe return to work. They assess the medical necessity and appropriateness of treatment, provide technical medical expertise to claim staff and work toward positively resolving workers' compensation, auto and liability claims. Qualified candidates must have a current relevant state nursing license, excellent written and oral communication skills and proficiency in all PC applications.

Project Manager

Project managers are the single point of accountability for the management and implementation of projects at Travelers. Project managers are team players who are willing to work in partnership with our business partners to identify and implement projects that support the achievement of simple to complex unit or corporate goals. Project managers control the planning and execution of the project's activities and resources to ensure that established cost, time and quality goals are met. Qualified candidates communicate effectively, are knowledgeable about varying technologies and application development, demonstrate an ability to set direction and can inspire others to achieve desired outcomes.
