A primer for your new career at Travelers

Congratulations again on your decision to join Travelers! Whether you’re starting with us in a few days or in more than a few months, you’re likely experiencing a bit of “wonder." What will my co-workers be like? Where do I go on my first day? Do I need to do anything additionally before I start? The information contained in our New Hires site along with that provided by our recruitment team and your manager will provide you the answers to those and more commonly asked questions – many of which are likely yours too.

Orientation – During your first week of employment, you will attend an orientation session.

Benefits Enrollment – To make your benefit elections, you will use our online enrollment system once you start.

Relocating – If you’re making a move to join Travelers, take a look at some tips and tools we’ve gathered from across the Web.

Paperwork – Take a moment before your start date to complete Section 1 of the electronic I-9 form discussed in the Welcome email sent to you from Travelers. The I-9 form, required by the Federal government, establishes your identity and eligibility to work in the United States. Please bring your proper identification with you on your first day of employment so that this form can be completed. You will also need to print out, complete and bring the Principles of Employment form with you on your first day.

If you have any questions, contact your recruiter or manager.
