Travelers is Recognized by G.I. Jobs as a Top Military-Friendly Employer

In the fifth annual list published by G.I. Jobs, Travelers is recognized at number 19 in a list of the Top 50 Military-Friendly Employers. Travelers is proud to be part of the highly coveted list – one that had 2,500 employers in the running for and only 2 percent were recognized on.

Like others selected for the list, Travelers is committed to military hiring and has reserve/guard friendly policies. "We have excellent benefits including military-friendly benefits continuation and leave of absence policies. We’ve also launched a number of other military hiring efforts and special programs this past year," said John Clifford, executive vice president of Human Resources. One such effort, Personal Insurance’s Military Transition Program, aims to attract transitioning junior military officers for opportunities within our Product Management and Project Management areas.

In addition, at Travelers, we're committed to military base direct outreach. Our recruiters have participated in dozens of military-specific employment seminars and career fairs for transitioning personnel. Some of our most recent base visits include Groton Naval Base and the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
