Travelers Environmental Claim Department deals with emerging litigation issues on a daily basis. As an Environmental Claim Assistant Account Executive, individuals are responsible for gathering, researching and analyzing complex loss data. Individuals work closely with clients, medical and technical specialists, and legal professionals to resolve coverage issues, investigate claims and negotiate settlements.
Environmental Claim Assistant Account Executives participate in a three-month, paid, formal training program that combines classroom instruction with independent study. Practical training, designed to give trainees hands-on experience and confidence, is an integral part of the program. Assistant Account Executives have the opportunity to make an immediate impact on the business, since claim file management responsibilities begin as soon as new employees demonstrate required skills and competencies.
New Assistant Account Executives are also encouraged to participate in the Environmental Claim Department’s mentoring program. This one-on-one mentoring opportunity provides participants with career guidance, as well as valuable insights into current business issues and case law.
