Northland account executives are responsible for activities associated with marketing, production, underwriting and servicing of Northland business. They ensure the profitability, growth and retention of as book of business within an assigned territory, assigned group of general agents or for an assigned program that is consistent with overall Northland objectives.
Account managers are responsible for the management of an assigned agent's account for the purpose of achieving profitable growth according to company goals. This includes evaluating individual risks and making pricing/selection decisions according to established guidelines. Account managers are responsible for analyzing management information and then designing, implementing and monitoring action plans to address problem areas and/or to capitalize on areas of strength that can be used to improve the performance of agents not meeting our goals. This position is also responsible for the management, training and proficiency levels of the underwriting staff.
This position investigates, evaluates and negotiates all claim aspects of coverage, liability and causation/damages to resolve commercial claims in all states.
Project managers are the single point of accountability for the management and implementation of projects at Travelers. Project managers are team players who are willing to work in partnership with our business partners to identify and implement projects that support the achievement of simple to complex unit or corporate goals. They control the planning and execution of the project's activities and resources to ensure that established cost, time and quality goals are met. Qualified candidates communicate effectively, are knowledgeable about varying technologies and application development, demonstrate an ability to set direction and can inspire others to achieve desired outcomes.
