Our Financial Management Leadership Development Summer Internship Program provides qualified students an excellent opportunity to gain firsthand business experience in the insurance industry, receive valuable on-the-job training through career development workshops and interact with all levels of management.
Interns work on challenging assignments that use and develop their technical and overall business skills. These robust positions are complemented by business workshops, networking opportunities, a mentor program and a competitive compensation package.
Successful performance during the internship could lead to full-time opportunities in our Financial Management Leadership Development Program, which has been preparing future leaders for 30 years. Program graduates hold leadership roles in our business segments and corporate support organizations, including positions as chief financial officers, finance directors and business unit presidents.

Positions in our corporate departments and business units are available in Hartford, Connecticut, and St. Paul, Minnesota, beginning in May or early June through the end of the summer. Subsidized apartments are available for students who live beyond a commutable distance from Hartford, Connecticut, or Saint Paul, Minnesota.
