Human Resources Leadership Development Summer Internship Program

Travelers’ Human Resources Leadership Development Summer Internship offers undergraduate and graduate students a stimulating and hands-on Human Resources (HR) experience within a condensed 10- to 12-week period.

Internship components

Interns are placed in one of many functional HR disciplines including Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Generalist or Employee Relations. Interns are expected to continually demonstrate their evolving HR competencies to help provide solutions for current business initiatives and challenges.


  • Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.2 or greater.
  • Motivation to succeed.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Leadership potential.
  • Initiative and involvement in school organizations and activities is preferred.
  • Work availability from mid-May through August (10-12 weeks).
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.

  • Business administration
  • Business law
  • HR
  • Labor relations or related field
  • Organizational/industrial psychology


Positions are available in Hartford, Connecticut, or St. Paul, Minnesota.
