For example, if the estimate from your contractor is higher than the one from your adjuster, or if the repair costs exceed what was originally expected, follow the process outlined in this video to get started.

First, you or your contractor will need to provide documentation like an estimate, photos of the damage or receipts of any additional issues that need to be addressed. You can upload these files at travelers.com/upload.

Once submitted, we'll review your documents and determine if the additional damage is covered. Some things, like upgrades to your home, certain types of damage or out-of-pocket expenses not related to the claim, may not be eligible.
