Travelers Wins CIO 100 and Gartner Eye on Innovation Awards

Travelers has earned its fourth CIO 100 Award, this time for TravelersLLM, our proprietary next-generation AI model built specifically for handling insurance-related tasks. Trained on millions of documents and decades of institutional knowledge, TravelersLLM gives our employees faster, smarter access to the information they need to solve complex problems and deliver for customers. The result is an AI model that completes insurance-specific tasks at more than twice the speed of leading frontier models – and at a fraction of the cost.

The annual CIO 100 Awards, presented by Foundry, recognize organizations that are using technology in innovative ways to deliver business value by creating competitive advantages, optimizing processes, enabling growth or deepening customer relationships.

2025: New Business Submission Automation

Travelers also earned a CIO 100 Award in 2025, for its New Business Submission Automation tool, developed by the Bond & Specialty Insurance and Tech teams. This AI-powered solution reduced the time to register submissions from two hours to two minutes, significantly increasing our ability to win new business and deliver the Travelers Promise to more customers.
