MyTravelers® For Injured Employees

MyTravelers® For Injured Employees offers a secure, web-based tool to help injured employees navigate the workers compensation claim process and empower them to take an active role in their recovery.

The tool provides injured employees the ability to message with a Claim or nurse professional, check status updates, view payment information and access downloadable forms. Injured employees can also use MyTravelers For Injured Employees to send documents directly to their Claim team and, when appropriate, elect to receive benefit payments electronically.

Additional Predictive Modeling

Timely intervention is critical to providing superior claim service. Our robust data and analytics capabilities support the development of claim management tools and ensure effective and timely deployment of resources at key points throughout a workers compensation claim. We continue to make significant investments – refining our existing models and developing new ones – to provide maximum value and superior claim outcomes for our customers and their injured employees.

Some of the predictive models we use include:

  • A patented Nurse Triage Model that helps determine the need for nurse case management.
  • A Subrogation Triage Model that helps us ensure that we pursue every reasonable opportunity for recovery.
  • A Risk Control Triage Model that helps determine if it is beneficial to engage risk control to help mitigate future risks.

Virtual Visit

Virtual Visit is a dynamic tool that enables you and your employees to have real-time video chat conversations with a Claim or nurse professional in the event of a claim.

The tool offers a quick and easy way to collect time sensitive information, such as scene photos which may be used for determining compensability or updates immediately following a medical provider visit. It also allows for almost real-time updates following office visits when used by the Medical Case Manager during an Injured Employee’s provider appointment.

Virtual Visit adds additional flexibility to the claim experience, which can help injured employees get back to work as soon as medically appropriate by keeping them engaged and informed.

ePay and eSignature

Travelers employs eSignature and electronic payment (ePay) technologies that allow you and your injured employees to engage with Claim professionals digitally and potentially expedite claim paperwork.

eSignature allows you to digitally sign documents, often eliminating the need to print paper documents and mail them for signature. Documents are emailed for digital signature and returned to Travelers with a few simple clicks. The process is fast, convenient and secure.

Travelers also offers injured employees the option to receive benefits payments via ePay, which can eliminate the need for paper checks.
