Travelers knows your employees are at the heart of your business’s success. The TravComp^® claim handling model combines the right blend of people, processes and technology to help get your employees back to work as soon as medically appropriate in the event of a workers compensation claim.

Depending on the facts of a claim, the model will assign the best possible resources and workflows for your injured employee.

When there are no compensability concerns, our return-to-work nurses and Claim professionals can provide specialized focus to drive better outcomes for you and your injured employees. Claims with validity or compensability concerns may be assigned and managed by a Claim professional in the Investigative Claim Unit.

During high-exposure or severe claims, our Critical Claim Unit leverages technical expertise to develop strategies to manage complex issues of law, compensability, subrogation, medical care and treatment. They can also partner with the Major Case Unit, a group of highly-skilled Claim professionals and nurses.

For claims with more certainty and less variability in their outcomes, the TCX program offers a streamlined workflow that expedites resolution. We use advanced analytics and injured employee characteristics to identify claims that may be appropriate for the program.
