"Overdraft" Documentary

"Overdraft" is an award-winning, nonpartisan documentary that examines the facts about the national debt and its critical implications for the American opportunity. Made for public television and presented by the Travelers Institute, this hour-long, educational film features thought leaders from government, academia, the media and beyond as they explore the role of entitlement programs, defense spending and tax reform and examine the difficult policy choices ahead.

University Symposia Series Report

Through the Overdraft University Symposia Series, the Travelers Institute engaged thousands of undergraduate and graduate students across the country on the topic of the national debt and what it means for their generation. The series, which hosted more than 50 screenings, featured faculty experts and Travelers leadership examining this important issue and encouraging students to think critically about the challenges ahead.
