With increased roadway fatalities, distracted driving is a growing cause for concern. Every driver, passenger and pedestrian has a role to play in changing social norms around distraction. Attendees in San Antonio joined this program to explore topics such as the science of distraction, situational awareness and the future of the roadway, and were challenged to help shift attitudes about the seriousness of distracted driving.
Presented by the Travelers Institute, St. Mary's University Greehey School of Business, Insurance Council of Texas, Our Driving Concern, Vision Zero San Antonio, Gamma Iota Sigma, Beta Xi Chapter at St. Mary's University, Road to Zero and the National Safety Council.
