Careers with Impact: How Travelers is Tackling Distracted Driving
September 24, 2019 | University of New Haven (New Haven, CT)
36,750 people died on U.S. roads in 2018*. And in 2017, more than 2.7 million people were injured*. Policymakers, law enforcement and victims' families point to distracted driving as an important contributing factor. As a leading property casualty insurer, Travelers sees firsthand the impact of these collisions on families and has launched a campaign to help combat distracted driving.
A luncheon was held at the University of New Haven to teach the latest approaches to combat distraction on the road, and explore how a career at Travelers can help achieve meaningful change on pressing issues. Students were invited to network with Travelers employees to explore career opportunities following the event.
Presented by the Travelers Institute.
