IntelliDrive is a low mileage discount program. Mileage is tracked via a device that is easily inserted to your vehicle for a period of 60-90 days.
The IntelliDrive Program is available to Travelers auto insurance customers, residing in a state where IntelliDrive is offered.

Yes, all compatible vehicles can be enrolled in the IntelliDrive program. Most cars manufactured after 1996 are compatible; however, there are some incompatible vehicles, including, but not limited to: vehicles older than 1996, hybrids, electric, and several heavy duty and large trucks.
There are two ways to save with IntelliDrive:
1. Simply by signing up (Sign on discount). When you sign up for IntelliDrive, you can receive an immediate discount off of your first term vehicle premium
2. By driving less (Low Mileage Discount). When your policy renews, you could save on the premium for each of your low mileage vehicles. With our graduated low mileage discount, the less you drive, the more you can save!
IntelliDrive varies by state:

IntelliDrive discounts are applied at the vehicle premium level and do not apply to all coverages or vehicles. Individual savings may vary and are not guaranteed. Terms and conditions apply. The IntelliDrive device must report data for at least 45 days between device installation and the generation of the policy continuation during the first term of enrollment.
We use the average weekly miles the enrolled vehicle is driven.

After 60-90 days you will receive instructions for how to return the device. You will be notified of any discount earned in your next policy renewal package.
Plug it in to your car’s diagnostic port; it’s located under the driver’s side dashboard of most cars. Every device comes with instructions.
To qualify for the sign-on discount, you need to install the device within 45 days of enrollment.
You will see a blinking light. This reflects that the device is transmitting data from the car.
Please remove and install the device again. If this does not fix it you should contact customer service at the number provided with your device.
Please contact your Travelers agent or Travelers representative to enroll the new vehicle in IntelliDrive, or to transfer your device to a different vehicle on your policy.
If you move the device to a different car without notifying customer support, the IntelliDrive program will not transmit mileage data or allow you to view driving reports on your online dashboard.
Contact your Travelers agent or service representative. He or she will remove your car from the program and provide instructions on returning the device.
Please contact your Travelers agent or Travelers representative. As long as your vehicle is compatible with the device and you live in a participating state, you can enroll in IntelliDrive at any time.

Travelers may use IntelliDrive information to service your policies, and prevent fraud. Travelers may use IntelliDrive Program data for research purposes; however, only your vehicles' mileage and your participation in the program will affect your vehicles' premium.
