Compensable injuries
Generally, injuries arising out of and in the course of employment, regardless of whose fault it is, have potential for workers compensation benefits. This includes occupational diseases and cumulative trauma injuries.
TN employees who sustain occupational diseases or cumulative trauma injuries arising out of and in the course of employment are entitled to the same workers compensation benefits afforded to those with acute, work-related injuries.
