At Travelers, we take pride in empowering our employees to have a positive impact by serving others. As community leaders, Travelers employees are more than strong corporate citizens: They are valuable assets to their hometowns.

Employee Involvement

Travelers supports employees' personal community interests through numerous programs:

Travelers Community Connections (TCC) Grants: The Travelers Community Connections field office volunteer grant program encourages and supports employee‐team volunteer involvement at its offices across the U.S. Grants of up to $15,000 may be requested for the partnering school or nonprofit organization.  In 2015, more than $425,000 in grant funding was provided to support 43 employee volunteer projects throughout 17 states through the Travelers Community Connections employee grant program.  Additionally, Travelers employees provided more than 5,140 hours of volunteer time to build homes for families in 22 states.

Travelers Employee Giving Campaign: An annual campaign encouraging Travelers employees to give financial support to organizations in their communities.

Matching Gifts: Donations by Travelers employees to eligible 501(c)3 organizations are matched dollar for dollar, starting at $50 and up to $500 per employee per calendar year.

Volunteer Grants: Employees may apply for a $500 volunteer grant to one eligible nonprofit organization, if they have given at least 24 hours as a direct service volunteer or as a volunteer board member at the organization during a calendar year. Travelers employees may apply for another $500 grant, if they have logged an additional 24 hours of direct volunteer service for the same or an additional qualifying organization.
